Dulbadrakh Sanduijav is an associate professor of economics at the Department of Economics, National University of Mongolia. His previous experience includes lecturer, senior lecturer, head of the Department of Economics, NUM, between 2002 and 2019. 

His research areas of expertise are macroeconomics, economic modelling, and impact evaluation. He has published his papers in a peer-reviewed journal, Economics: Theory, Practice. 

He received a research grant from the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP). He successfully implemented the project on Impacts of Universal Childcare Service on Women’s Employment.

Alongside his academic research, his experience in consulting for international organizations, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and the private sector is rich. He worked as a researcher of Economic Governance for Inclusive Growth project, EU; Assessment of Japanese FDI to Mongolia between 2004 and 2009; Economic Freedom Index in Mongolia, Open Society Forum. 

He obtained his PhD in Economics from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, Japan, MA in Economics from the International University of Japan, BA in Economics from the National University of Mongolia.
