Gantungalag Altansukh is an associate professor of economics of the Department of Economics at the National University of Mongolia (NUM). Before joining NUM in 2014, she was a risk analyst at the Development Bank of Mongolia. Her research areas are macroeconomics and econometrics.
She publishes her papers in the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Empirical Economics, peer-reviewed economics journals listed in Web of Science. Currently, she is working as an associate editor of Economics: Theory, Practice.
She received a research grant from the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) and the World Bank on “Impacts of Universal Childcare Services on Women’s Employment” and successfully implemented the project.
She obtained her PhD and MSc from the University of Manchester, UK, BA in Economics from the National University of Mongolia.
