Long queues formed outside gas stations

Gasoline stations operating at this time of intensifying cold provide gasoline and fuel with certain restrictions. As a result, long queues have formed outside gas stations in the capital since last Wednesday. At gas stations, AI-92 fuel was cut off, and people who stood in long queues were getting AI-95. AI-95 (3910₮) gasoline is 1520₮ more expensive than AI-92 (2390₮).

According to "Century News" newspaper, on December 11, 2023, Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry, Member of Parliament J. Ganbaatar said, "After Russia completes its internal reserves, the supply of AI-92 gasoline will increase on the 17th and 18th of this month." It will be stabilized and 100% will be problem-free in the new year. This shortage is due to the fact that the Russian government is temporarily restricting the export of gasoline and diesel fuel in order to stabilize domestic market prices.
