The report of the "Study on the State of the Garment Industry" has been released

The report of the "Study on the State of the Garment Industry" completed by the research team of NRCC Company has been released.

The study was commissioned by the non-governmental organization Development Solutions, which implements the "Business Excellence for Sustainability and Transparency" (BEST) program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The study was completed from October 13 to December 12.

This study aims to investigate the challenges, prospects, and solutions in the garment industry for small and medium-sized businesses as well as self-employed entrepreneurs. The research methodology employed for this study is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods. The quantitative research included 103 producers from Ulaanbaatar city, Darkhan-Uul, Orkhon, Dornod, and Zavkhan aimag, and 402 consumers from UB city and the 21 aimag. Moreover, more than 30 producers, 10 policymakers, implementers, and researchers took part in qualitative research.
